Our blending plants

Our lubricants are manufactured at our lubricant blending plants in Tanzania and Togo, which together serve markets across East and West Africa. The two facilities have a combined capacity of 100,000 tonnes per year and offer a high level of flexibility in producing and packaging both mineral and synthetic products, from half-litre cans to bulk volumes. Our innovative, premium-quality lubricants are approved by manufacturers and certified by international technical committees.

Our plant in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, opened in 1999 and also blends for international third parties under toll manufacturing agreements. Our state-of-the-art blending facility in Lomé, Togo, was opened in 2011 and is fitted with the latest blending and control systems. These two modern, local plants reflect Oryx Energies' commitment to developing a downstream platform that is close to our customers. Our experience enables us to offer our clients a high level of technical and logistical expertise, as well as a wide range of services.

The quality of our products is matched by our attention to Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Quality (HSSEQ) standards that are key to mutually efficient and sustainable business. Our customers can be confident that our operations and procedures meet the criteria of ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment) and ISO 45001 (Health and Safety). We also work closely with our customers' safety departments to ensure we meet their site standards, and run prevention and protection drills.
